The Phillies lost 6-2 to the Blue Jays on Thursday. The Phils remain winless in spring play(0-2). Carlos Carrasco and J.A. Happ both pitched two scoreless innings but Justin Lehr gave up two runs and then Blaine Neal gave up four and he was hit with the loss. The Phillies were yet to muster some offense only scoring two runs and their only multiple base hit was a double by John Mayberry. The Phillies finished with only six hits while the Jays also only had 6 hits, but they were able to hit two home runs( Travis Snider (1, 5th inning off Lehr, 0 on, 0 out), Jason Lane (1, 5th inning off Lehr, 0 on, 0 out). Billy Murphy picked up the win for the Jays pitching a scoreless inning. The Phillies will head to the Reds(1-1) Ed Smith Stadium to try and get their first win.
