Moyer Update: Veteran left-hander Jamie Moyer will have more tests conducted on his injured left elbow on Tuesday in what he calls a final step toward getting a proper diagnosis on the injury\

Phils vs Dbacks: Head out to Citizens Bank Park on Tuesday-Thursday as Ryan Howard and the Phillies welcome Justin Upton and the Arizona Diamondbacks to Philadelphia. Don't miss out.

Oswalt to Phils??: With Dan Haren now gone, the Phillies are looking to possibly trade for the Astros pitcher Roy Oswalt. Jayson Werth is out of the lineup today. I hope this deal happens.

Werth not in Phillies M0nday lineup: Jayson Werth is not playing right now. Maybe the Phillies are going to trade him?? Or just a day off?? We shall see.

Phillies Notebook

Phils vs. Dodgers..... LIVE!:

There is curently no score in the Phils-Dodgers game. It is in the 3rd inning. More to come! Cole Hamels gets the nod. Follow live on the new scoreboard!

Romero back
:

After a 50-game suspension, Phils reliever J.C. Romero is back with the team. He even got into the game last night pitching 1.1 innings and giving up an unearned run. To make room on the roster, Sergio Escalona was sent down to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Drabek solid:

Kyle Drabek produced a very solid game, in his first Double-A start. Drabek went 7 innings while giving up three hits and no runs on four K's as the Reading Phillies valted to the win 6-1 over the Akron Aeros.

Plenty of Talent in 2009 MLB Draft:

The 2009 edition of the MLB Draft has no shortage of talent. With plenty of talented college seniors(which is unusual) and tons of top high school players waiting to hear their name called, the MLB Draft will be fun to watch. It will be televised by MLB Network next Tuesday(June 9th) evening. The Mariners have the Phillies first round pick because of the signing of Raul Ibanez. I'll bet if the Phillies front office knew he was this good they would have given the Mariners even more draft picks.

Ibanez is help to my ailing fantasy team:

Right know, my fantasy team is on a one game win streak and about to win another game thanks to Phillies outfielder Raul Ibanez. My team had previously been in the cellar all year, until know. So if it hasn't already become obvious: ADD RAUL TO YOUR FANTASY BASEBALL TEAM!

Phillies in need of a comeback against Fins

The Phils are currently down 5-1 in the sixth thanks to a Dan Uggla solo blast, a Chris Coglan double, and Cody Ross jack. Carlos Ruiz also had a solo dinger of his own, his second of the year. Brett Myers went 5 and 2/3 giving up 7 hits and 5 earned runs with 3 strikouts. Myers, until this point, was having a respectable May after a shaky start to the season in April. More info and anaylsis to come!

On the Farm Scoreboard:

The Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs currently lead the Buffalo Bisons 5-1, thanks to homers by Paul Hoover and Jeremy Slayden. Kyle Kendrick is pitching well.
